On January 23, 2017 the delegation of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) visited Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).

On January 23, 2017 the delegation of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) visited Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). The delegation included Li Yihai, Secretary-General of Think Tank Foundation at SASS, Pan Dawei, Director of the Center for Russia and Central Asia Studies at SASS, and Yang Bo, Senior Fellow of the Center for Russia and Central Asia Studies at SASS. Andrey Kortunov, Director General, Ivan Timofeev, Director of Programs, and Liudmila Filippova, Program Manager for the Arctic and Asia Pacific, represented RIAC at the meeting. The parties exchanged their opinions on opportunities for cooperation between RIAC and SASS as well as on pending issues of Russia-China relations and international agenda. Chinese experts were informed about the results of RIAC’s work on Chinese track in 2016 as well as the plans for 2017, including the annual Conference to be held on May, 29-30.
