The Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) took part in the preparation of the collective monograph of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) “Agricultural Problems and New Models of Economic Development in the East”.

The monograph is devoted to relevant agricultural problems and new models of development of the countries of the East. The book comprehensively examines the impact of the pandemic on the food security of the countries of Asia and Africa, on the increase in poverty and inequality in the countries of the East, and on the choice of new models of economic development by these countries.
