On August 10-14, 2014, Ambassador Gleb Ivashentsov, director of RIAC’s project “Russia-Republic of Korea: an Outlook for Bilateral Relations”, visited Seoul to meet leaders of the Institute for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (IREEES) at Seoul National University, Korea Institute for Defense Analyses and Korea Energy Economics Institute.

On August 10-14, 2014, Ambassador Gleb Ivashentsov, director of RIAC’s project “Russia-Republic of Korea: an Outlook for Bilateral Relations”, visited Seoul to meet leaders of the Institute for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (IREEES) at Seoul National University, Korea Institute for Defense Analyses and Korea Energy Economics Institute. 

The sides discussed future interaction to harmonize the experts’ approaches on energy security cooperation in Asia-Pacific and development of joint energy projects. Ambassador Ivashentsov also delivered a lecture on international reverberations of Ukraine crisis at the IREEES.

RIAC will continue elaboration of advice aimed to promote Russia’s interests vis-à-vis South Korea.
