On June 17, 2014 in Moscow, RIAC members and experts, among them RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, Alexander Panov, former deputy foreign minister, Gleb Ivashentsov, former ambassador to South Korea and Valery Sukhinin, former ambassador to North Korea met Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs for the Republic of Korea Ambassador Hwang Joon-kook, Deputy Director of Bureau for North Korea Nuclear Issues Kim Yong-hyon and several South Korean Embassy officers.

On June 17, 2014 in Moscow, RIAC members and experts, among them RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, Alexander Panov, former deputy foreign minister, Gleb Ivashentsov, former ambassador to South Korea and Valery Sukhinin, former ambassador to North Korea met Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs for the Republic of Korea Ambassador Hwang Joon-kook, Deputy Director of Bureau for North Korea Nuclear Issues Kim Yong-hyon and several South Korean Embassy officers.

The participants discussed security on the Korean Peninsula, nuclear nonproliferation, the role of China and the United States in handling regional problems, possible resumption of the six-party talks, and future relations between Moscow and Seoul.
