Roman Grishenin, Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund; Ibrahim Gabeyev, Head of the Department for the Implementation of Public Projects of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District; and Zurab Kazanokov, Deputy Director of the North Caucasus Institute - RANEPA branch, made opening remarks.
Sergey Markedonov, RIAC Expert, Associate Professor, Department of Regional Studies and Foreign Policy, Russian State University for the Humanities, introduced the program.
The event is devoted to the Caucasus region development trends. The main issues of the discussion include geopolitics, economics and security in the Caucasus region, internal and foreign policy dynamics in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, major political and socio-political processes in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, etc.
