On November 12-13, 2015, a RIAC team of its President Igor Ivanov, Director General Andrey Kortunov, Presidium Chairman of Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Fyodor Lukyanov and President of RAS Institute for Oriental Studies Vitaly Naumkin were in Paris to participate in annual conference “France-Russia-Europe: Split or Reconciliation” sponsored by L’Institut Jean Lecanuet), le Groupe senatorial d’amitie France – Russie, l’Institut de relations internationales et strategiques l’Ovbservatoire franco-russe.

On November 12-13, 2015, a RIAC team of its President Igor Ivanov, Director General Andrey Kortunov, Presidium Chairman of Council on Foreign and Defense Policy Fyodor Lukyanov and President of RAS Institute for Oriental Studies Vitaly Naumkin were in Paris to participate in annual conference “France-Russia-Europe: Split or Reconciliation” sponsored by L’Institut Jean Lecanuet, le Groupe senatorial d’amitie France – Russie, l’Institut de relations internationales et strategiques and l’Ovbservatoire franco-russe.

The event was also attended by Russian Ambassador to France Alexander Orlov, as well as by over 200 politicians, diplomats, government officials, journalists and public figures from France and other European countries, who focused on challenges common to Russia and Europe, Syria and Middle East, Ukraine, global and regional migration, and state of Russian-French relations.

On the sidelines, RIAC representatives held several meetings with French journalists and businessmen.
