Today, distinguished experts on EU – Russia relations are meeting at a roundtable co-organised by the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation and the Russian International Affairs Council. The meeting brings together representatives of research organisations, think tanks, and current and former policy-makers from the EU and Russia. The aim is to understand the differences in the current state of affairs between the EU and Russia and to identify how these divisions could be managed.

Today, distinguished experts on EU – Russia relations are meeting at a roundtable co-organised by the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation and the Russian International Affairs Council.

The meeting brings together representatives of research organisations, think tanks, and current and former policy-makers from the EU and Russia.

The aim is to understand the differences in the current state of affairs between the EU and Russia and to identify how these divisions could be managed.

In addition to today's meeting, three further meetings of the EU – Russia Experts' Network are foreseen for 2016, taking place in different locations in the EU and Russia. Different issues of relevance for the current EU-Russia relations will be discussed in each of them. The outcome will be a set of recommendations to promote cooperation and help rebuild trust
