RIAC and Carnegie Endowment Discuss Russian-American Efforts against Terrorism and Political Extremism

... Andrey Kortunov held consultations with leaders of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace on cooperation between the two think tanks. Carnegie was represented by its President Jessica Mathews, Vice-President for Studies Andrew Weiss, Director of Russia and Eurasia Program Eugene Rumer and Senior Associate James Collins, former U.S. ambassador to Russia. The participants focused on cooperation of the two organizations on Russian-American interaction in countering international terrorism and political extremism, and agreed to exchange policy papers on the subject for a future joint report.
