In particular, there were discussions on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine military conflict on the global economy and international security. In addition, the participants discussed the problems of food security, global trends in the energy sector, as well as environmental challenges. A special attention was paid to instable countries of the Middle East and North Africa. In particular, there were discussions on the political crisis in Libya and the problem of Afghanistan, as well as the impact of situations in these countries on the region.
