On February 25, 2016 the French Embassy in Moscow hosted a meeting between France’s Secretary General of Defense and National Security Louis Gautier and RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, RIAC expert and Head of Strategic Assessments Section at RAS Center for Situational Analysis Sergey Utkin and independent political analyst Konstantin Eggert.

On February 25, 2016 the French Embassy in Moscow hosted a meeting between France’s Secretary General of Defense and National Security Louis Gautier and RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, RIAC expert and Head of Strategic Assessments Section at RAS Center for Situational Analysis Sergey Utkin and independent political analyst Konstantin Eggert.

The participants discussed topical issues of Russian-French relations, European security problems, the situation in Syria and in the Middle East, and the prospects for settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.

The meeting, moderated by French Charge d'Affaires in Russia Frederik Mondoloni, was also attended by officials of the Embassy of France in Russia and the French Ministry of Defense.
