On April 27–28, 2018, Washington DC hosted 42nd regular plenary meeting of the International Business Elite Forum held semiannually under the auspices of the RAND Business Leaders Forum rotating between Russia and the U.S. since 1997.

On April 27–28, 2018, Washington DC hosted 42nd regular plenary meeting of the International Business Elite Forum held semiannually under the auspices of the RAND Business Leaders Forum rotating between Russia and the U.S. since 1997.

CEOs and managers of key Russian, European, and American corporations, investment funds, consulting centers, international financial institutes, think tanks, and NGOs take part in the Forum regularly.

Russian International Affairs Council has been taking part in the Forum since 2012. Ruslan Grinberg, RIAC Member, Academic Director of the RAS Institute of Economics; Andrey Kolosovsky, RIAC Member, Director of Legal, Corporate, and Outreach Affairs at Microsoft Russia; Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General; Vitaly Naumkin, RIAC Member, Academic Director of RAS Institute for Oriental Studies; and RIAC experts Nadezhda Arbatova and Nikolay Kozhanov made speeches at the Forum.
