On October 8, 2018, RIAC President Igor Ivanov had a meeting with Carsten Sondergaard, Ambassador of Denmark in the Russian Federation.

The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: various aspects of relations between Russia and NATO, Russia and the European Union, the prospects for Russian-American control of strategic armaments, the future of the INF Treaty and New START, and the situation in the Baltic region. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, also took part in the meeting.
