That’s required to transform traditional Russian scientific and engineering student into someone who is willing to be an entrepreneur. A willingness to take risks. A willingness to apply the knowledge that they have learnt. A willingness to rock the boat and try to shape the future. Russian education at universities, at least, is a very fact based education.
