Russia can be described as “composing itself” in terms of its policy in the Balkans as it searches for and tries to determine its strategic interests in Southeast Europe in general. We should expect Moscow to step up its cooperation in the region, particularly in the energy sector. What is more, the specific results of the EAEU–Serbia cooperation can set a positive precedent for other Balkan states.
