In contrast to Mercosur with its informal leadership of Brazil, membership for Venezuela and strong Latin American ideological values, the Pacific Alliance is more focused on economic and trade cooperation as well as on liberal values, although all its member states are members of UNASUR, CELAC and SADC as well.
