RIAC Delegation Meets up with Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences

..., Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. The sides discussed possible joint RIAC and SASS projects. The discussion in the course of the event also focused on Russia-China partnership following the results of the XIX Congress of the Communist Party of China and the upcoming presidential elections in Russia. SASS, SIIS (Shanghai Institute for International Studies), and SISU (Shanghai International Studies University) experts took part in the event.

RIAC meets with SASS delegation

..., Director General, Ivan Timofeev, Director of Programs, and Liudmila Filippova, Program Manager for the Arctic and Asia Pacific, represented RIAC at the meeting. The parties exchanged their opinions on opportunities for cooperation between RIAC and SASS as well as on pending issues of Russia-China relations and international agenda. Chinese experts were informed about the results of RIAC’s work on Chinese track in 2016 as well as the plans for 2017, including the annual Conference to be held on May, 29-30.
