On September 29, 2022, Cristian Istrate, Ambassador of Romania to the Russian Federation, and Liliana Burda, Counselor of the Romanian Embassy, visited Russian International Affairs Council.

During the meeting with Romanian diplomats, topical issues of European security, the current situation in the Balkan Peninsula and the Black Sea region, as well as the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Russia and Romania were discussed.
