Sergey Lebedev

Chairman of the Executive Committee — Executive Chairman of the CIS.

Mr. Lebedev graduated from the Chernigov Branch of Kiev Polytechnic Institute, and later the Diplomatic Academy of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Army General.

Former state security and foreign intelligence officer.

Mr. Lebedev received counterintelligence training at Kiev KGB School, and intelligence training at the KGB Red Banner Institute.

From 1998 to 2000, he was the official representative of the Foreign Intelligence Service in the U.S.A.

In 2000, he was appointed Director of the Russian Intelligence Service by President of the Russian Federation.
