The reports were drafted as part of the preparation for the European Forum on Access to Justice, held in Budapest, Hungary, on December 5-7, 2002, in collaboration with the Open Society Justice Initiative. Access to Justice in Central and Eastern Europe: Country Reports is a compilation of nine country reports and a comparative report assessing the state of provision of legal aid in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This document has been produced with the financial assistance of the European Commission.
