Bulgaria, Poland and Russia in Europe

Rumena Valentinova Filipova

I am a PhD student in International Relations at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford; supervised by Professor Neil MacFarlane. I have done research internships at the Carnegie Moscow Center and the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), London. My main research interests include Constructivist theory, Foreign Policy Analysis, East European area studies with a focus on Bulgaria, Poland and Russia as well as the process of Europeanisation and EU enlargement policy. My RIAC blog attempts to provide an up-to date analysis of Bulgarian, Polish and Russian foreign policy, focusing on each of those countries’ recent policies related to European developments in terms of identity and security as well as on trends in their own bilateral relations.
