“Unafraid, Bi-partisan, Uphold U.S. and Freedom”
On April 10, 2016, fearing that his favorite candidate, Hillary, was in deep trouble with her server-gate, President Obama embroiled himself in a major conflict of interest. As with Ferguson earlier, he weighed in on a controversial issue he should have stayed out of. He told Fox’s Chris Wallace that Hillary “did not jeopardize national security” by putting classified material on an insecure, private server. Just “carelessness” was all. Understand, her drive towards the presidency should not be affected by this petty stuff.
But as Judge Anthony Napolitano wrote, “Mrs., Clinton had a legal obligation to recognize state secrets when she saw them, no matter their markings or non-markings. On her first day on the job, she swore under oath that she recognized and understood that legal obligation and she promised to comply with it. She did not comply.” Moreover four of these e-mails had the highest possible classification
The judge also reminded us that Hillary’s illegal server was exposed by a Romanian hacker, “Guccifer,” who was extradited to the U.S. in March 2016. He got into a top secret e-mail sent to a Clinton top level, mysterious associate, Sid Blumenthal. The president weighed in because he knows very well that what she did may have put not just secret operatives, but some very uncomfortable state secrets in danger.
Obama also must have noticed Clinton is under tremendous pressure having lost the last eight primaries to Sanders. Moreover, Sanders recently even dared to assert that “her judgment is poor!” She voted for “W” and Condi’s 2003 war of choice in Iraq.
Understandably, the President is nervous about the imminent probes of the FBI, and we believe the Fox interview must be seen as laying the groundwork for Hillary’s next in a long list of escapes from the long arm of the law. Or is it the nefarious “right wing conspiracy” ever haunting the Clintons?
Hillary, with her multiple scandals, must not be our president. It would be a disaster from which we might not recover. Yet, with the proper Obama “fix,” and with most Americans still unaware of who Hillary really is, she has a good shot at returning to the White House. The woman that the late New York Times, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist William Safire called a congenital liar, and that Clinton associate Paul Begala described as a “Bolshevik”, has been binding up something called “super delegates.” Know now that these are not the ordinary delegates supposed to represent we the voters, but Democrat proconsuls invested with powers to obey the will of the Party nomenclature and not the people. They are much reminiscent of Mikhail Gorbachev’s hundred “red barons." These were unelected bigwigs appointed in 1989 by the Kremlin to the Congress of the People’s Deputies to stop Gorbachev’s elected rival, Boris Yeltsin, and his band of democrats.
Crooked Political System” and “Gestapo Tactics”
Bernie Sanders is not the only one plagued by the complex primary and convention rules. “Look at what's happening to Bernie!” exclaimed the Donald at a rally. “He wins, he wins, he wins, he wins, and I hear he doesn't have a chance. This is a crooked system, folks."
Not knowing America's archaic primary system, the real estate mogul is angry. In Colorado there wasn’t even a vote – yet clever and disciplined Cruz, with his outstanding ground work, got all the delegates. Moreover, thanks to arcane rules, in a number of states like Louisiana, campaigns to influence the nominating process can occur long after votes have been counted.
Trump’s latest hire, experienced delegate manager Paul Manafort, has accused Cruz of “gestapo tactics” in corralling delegates through the convention ground game. That’s surely hyperbolic. Businessman Donald is late to the politics game. What is really alarming however, is the possibility of Party bosses throwing out both Trump and Cruz and picking a candidate who has received a minority of votes or is not even running. That would unfortunately ruin at least the perception that most of us live in a democracy and the results could be dire. Don’t our votes count? The system in which Party bigwigs vetted and chose candidates was the one we used to call “communism” before it collapsed under its own failures.
The rise of outsiders like Trump and Sanders, is a clear manifestation of enormous voter disgust, anger and resolve, sentiments that surely give the lie to the touted 53% approval rating of Mr. Obama. These two men represent, in their own ways, peaceful revolution against what Cruz calls “the Washington Cartel.” And it’s no wonder that the nomenclature in both parties is fighting back. That Trump and Sanders are self-financing -- rejecting funding from Super PACs, high roller donors, business lobbyists and political hacks -- is a threat to their dominance and control. If either Trump or Sanders win they owe favors and payback only to we the people.
To Win the Nomination Sanders has to Open Hillary’s “Damned E-mails”
We are sympathetic to Bernie Sanders though we find it hard to understand why, he refuses to open the issue of Hillary’s “damned e-mails.” It’s a terrible mistake fighting cunning foe and accomplished actress, Hillary. However, the old, Brooklynite Menshevik with Utopian bent, is a moral person and presents far less hazard to American democracy and our freedom than Machiavellian Hillary. Now we know she has tried to hide her support for shady arms transfer operations in Libya while making money for her Clinton Foundation on her private server.
Much as the Bolsheviks took the money of the German general staff to gain power, the self-advertised defender of the female gender lets her Clinton Foundation take money even from Arab regimes that repress women.
But the main point is that if she is elected, her White House would turn into another Millhouse inferno as it was during 1972-74 Watergate. Think of total lack of transparency, continuous investigations, discoveries, acrimonious debates, lies, and above all, a divided nation. Our foes will surely take advantage of it as they did with Nixon. For that reason alone she must be stopped.
Meanwhile, the most outspoken GOP enemies of Trump are the so called neo-cons, defenders of “W” Bush and Condi’s 2003 war of choice in Iraq. This is the war that Sanders voted against and Trump denounced at an early stage. Disappointed in being unable to serve again in a Jeb or Marco administration, they are now embracing Cruz in hopes of stopping Donald. They are furious that Trump, like Bernie, believes that “W” Bush did not protect us against 9/11 and even had the nerve to say so. No wonder they call Trump a “fascist” and some would rather cast an unpatriotic vote even for menace Hillary than for him.
Towards a Trump-Cruz Ticket
For full disclosure we support what seems unthinkable at the present time – a Trump-Cruz ticket. The most dangerous Republican candidate to Hillary is of course Donald, no t Ted. No matter what the polls say or the GOP quislings whisper into Ted’s ears, he's the main threat. Trump, unlike Cruz, he will get the Reagan Democrats, independents and blue collar workers who haven’t voted before. Together with Ted he would get the Tea Party conservatives and evangelicals and create a majority as did the New Englander JFK and another Texan, conservative southerner, LBJ, in the 1960 election. No two men could have hated each other more than JFK and LBJ, yet for the sake of the party and the nation, they got together and defeated Richard Nixon.
Well meant, authentic, patriotic, although a bit vulgar, Donald is surely amazed at the canards of racism and bigotry hurled at him in massive deluge of edited sound bites and commercials. Originated by leftist media pundits and right wing attack dogs, they are pure propaganda. A former Democrat like Reagan, Trump is a moderate, populist and no racist. As his own man he is genuinely seeking to be our man. He has stumbled learning the ropes, but he’s very quick study and perhaps can recover.
Ted is a young and upcoming new Teddy Roosevelt, who as a Vice presidential candidate could become eventually Donald’s successor. Moreover, unlike Teddy (Roosevelt) he has a second capability that can serve our nation; unmatched understanding of constitutional law.
The brokered convention and a candidate chosen by the nomenclature and not the people would only assure Hillary’s victory. Unfortunately, she will likely defeat gentlemanly Bernie. The patriotic Ted Cruz will realize, we hope, that the only way to prevent her victory is his forging a joint ticket with Donald. Why not say it? We nostalgically recall their dual rally against the Iran nuclear deal. Cruz needs Trump’s business experience, while Trump needs Cruz to help organize the best ground game in the national elections.
For the sake of the republic and to stop the Millhouse-like menace to our nation, they must forge a coalition prior to or at the GOP convention. After all, the 2016 election is truly critical. It will decide if our nation again becomes the indispensable power, and beacon of freedom and liberty, admired by our friends and feared by our foes.
