JVLV: REFUTE MADELEINE ALBRIGHT’S “GENDER POLITICS,” By Leni Friedman Valenta, 2-9-2016

Listening to Madeleine Albright declare a special hell for women who don’t support other women, I suddenly pictured the pits of hell yawning hungrily for Madeleine.  In my view, she is pushing the election of Hillary for either a cushy job in a Hillary administration or else intimate contact with the Central Committee of Hillaryland.  By this I refer to the small clique of advisors on her former White House team that Bill's aide, Paul Begala, called, "The Bolsheviks."  

Let me be plain.  With all of Madeleine's political  connections, I can't believe she actually doesn't know how bad Hillary would be for the welfare of the country.  There are several women I would not choose to support and Hillary and Madeleine are two of them.

There is also one I would support – Carly Fiorina – one of the most articulate and experienced of any candidates, who was kept off the main state of the GOP debate.  We are the poorer for not having her input.  She is not my choice for president, but she surely deserves a high office in the next administration.

But let me further explore Mme Albright’s gender-based politics. Her biographies indicate she is not inclined to scholarship. What she is good at is taking loyalty to a high,  if sometimes highly defective art.  In his book, Madeleine Albright, A Twentieth Century Odyssey, biographer Michael Dobbs reports how she “put her own credibility on the line to by going out and vouching for his (Bill’s) truthfulness” when he denied his affair with Monica Lewinsky. She continued to show 100% support for the president even after he acknowledged having misled her and other members of the cabinet.”  In light of this, do you wonder that she  supports Hillary,  who overlooked or covered up  the repeated lechery  of Bill Clinton,  even including a complaint of rape?  Or can we do more than laugh at Hillary's charge that Bernie Sanders is sexist?

Loyalty has served Albright well.  Sadly, hers doesn't serve us well.  In Dobbs' words,  “The public perception of Madeleine Albright is that of an outspoken woman who ‘tells it like it is,”… much “tempered by a competing urge to please a succession of powerful, predominantly male patrons.”   Meanwhile, Nebraska Democrat Barry Rubin, observing her opposition to the U.S. entering the Iraq War in 1990 at a Party caucus in Congress wrote about her "flexibility."  "I saw  her, "  he wrote, "as a chameleon, someone who will take on any particular position that benefits them at the moment.”

No, I would not support Madeleine again as Secretary of State and certainly not  Hillary as president.   In Dobbs' view,  although Madeleine was “by no means a failure, it seemed unlikely that she would go down in the annals of outstanding secretaries of state.”  That's about right.  Under Bill Clinton, Madeleine did a creditable job in former Yugoslavia and the rescue of Bosnia from ethnic cleansing, but the recent missile testing of North Korea highlights what a poor job she did there after being wined and dined in Pyongyang by the communist dictator. What she did help to provide was the cover for Pyongyang’s further nuclear cheating on the West.  She was surely no Kissinger.  And neither was Hillary, hard-pressed to find anything to brag about during her term as Secretary of State. 

Albright also surely must know  that placing highly classified information on a hack-able, insecure server disqualifies Hillary from being a presidential candidate. Moreover, Condi Rice and Colin Powell did not do the same thing as Hillary currently lies. They had private e-mail but not a private, unauthorized server hidden in their bathroom closets. They didn’t send many e-mails, nor were those they sent of the highest possible classified status as with Hillary. And was the purpose of this server just convenience as Hillary claims? Or to hide from the American people massive influence peddling through her Clinton Foundation as suggested by Peter Shweizer in Clinton Cash? Does Madeleine also know that Hillary’s key aide, Huma Abedin, stated in some e-mails that Hillary is sometimes “confused.” 

And by the way, who vetted Huma Abedin, the daughter of a high ranking member of the Muslim Brotherhood?  With Huma's mother deeply involved with a terrorist organization in Egypt, why did such a person have access to these highest level of classified e-mails? This is not just frightening, it’s horrifying!

It is essential to America that we have a president who tells the truth. Can any sane person really expect that Hillary will not continue her chronic pattern of lying to the public? The ensuing Servergate scandal promises to explode like Watergate with national paralysis at the worst possible time. She will be fighting jail amidst the struggle with Islamic terrorism worldwide, unpredictable Putin and an unstable North Korean leader playing with his new, military toys.

For those who don’t know who Hillary is, they should read the columns of the late William Safire who went after her as he did after Republican Richard Nixon. See Safire’s January 8, 1996 column, “Blizzard of Lies” and his January 6, 1984 column, “Vince Foster’s Ghost,” and look up Hillary’s laundry list of lies covering her laundry list of scandals. One her worst, however, impinged upon our national security as well as the trust of the American people in their government.  That was when she stood before the coffins of 4 dead Americans who died at the Benghazi consulate of Libya and lied that their deaths were due to a spontaneous demonstration caused of an anti-Muslim video.

The same night she e-mailed her daughter and an Egyptian official that it was due to a Islamic terrorist attack. All this just before Obama’s 2012 election. Yet Madeleine seems totally oblivious to how Hillary, Obama, and current NSA Susan Rice, lied to the public, or how Obama and Hillary failed to send help to the Benghazi U.S. consulate  in order to promote the fiction that Osama bin Laden is dead and thus al Qaeda has been decimated.
