EXPLANATION OF 13 HOURS STORY   By Jiri and Leni Friedman Valenta,  January 16, 2015

Several hours before the Democratic Party debate between Hillary Clinton and surging Bernie Sanders, and two weeks before the primaries, the Teheran mullahs have tried to help not just Obama, but Hillary by releasing our four imprisoned hostages in a swap deal for terrorists. They surely will not help surging Bernie. Let us never forget, Teheran is pathologically anti-Semitic and just had a cartoon competition denying the very holocaust in which Bernie’s relatives died.  The Iranian president also just called those in Congress opposing the nuke deal "Zionists."

Now we understand why the debate was scheduled for Sunday. January 17. Someone knew when the hostages were released, Iran’s sanctions would be lifted. The Democrats, above all Hillary, initially involved with the deal, could present it as a major achievement – although it is not.

Meanwhile, the nation is also viewing the film, Thirteen Hours, featuring a day of infamy on September 11, 2012, the killing of four brave Americans in Benghazi including our ambassador Chris Stevens.

The truth of Benghazi has been hidden. As the film 13 Hours, cleverly released by Trump in Iowa, and now nationwide makes clear, someone high up gave stand down orders not to go to the rescue of four Americans facing a Benghazi terrorist attack. The sad truth is that we know more about the Kremlin intrigues on the eve of Mikhail Gorbachev’s election than we know about the 13 hours of White House intrigues re Benghazi. We don’t have proof, but only the president or Hillary could have given a stand down order. Having been on this mystery for four years, however, we can help our readers.

Thirteen Hours captures a national tragedy that would not be tolerated even in Vladimir Putin’s Russia. It reveals what JVLV has been featuring since 2012. The election in favor of Obama was won through a web of lies clearly managed by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton together with Susan Rice, Victoria Nuland and Ben Rhodes.

Someone high up, either the President, whose exact whereabouts on the crucial day are still unknown – or Hillary-- decided that a rescue attempt would undermine the campaign myth that Al Qaeda was decimated with the death of Osama Bin Laden. Thus the decision was made to forgo the rescue of four American heroes. As the chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Trey Gowdy, concluded, at least two of the men who died could have been saved.

Bernie is an honorable man. Although we disagree with some parts of his democratic socialist programs as unworkable with our almost 19 trillion dollar U.S. debt, we surely would rather see him, than Hillary, as the Democratic nominee. To get there, however, he must do his patriotic duty.

In the next two weeks he must finally ask his political adversary about the “damned e-mails” and what she did during those 13 hours. Why, standing by the coffin of the four murdered Americans, did you lie to their parents that their deaths were due to a video and we will get the guy with the video. Why did you then e-mail your daughter and a senior Arab official the attackers were really Islamic terrorists?

Not just 13 hours! Many days and months of policies inimical to our national interests should also be questioned. As a Senator, Bernie must have been briefed about what has surfaced in some news reports: Hillary’s State Department was dealing in buying and selling arms to rebels seeking to liquidate Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi. “We came, we saw and we killed him,” she bragged. Yet Ghaddafi, frightened by the killing of Saddam Hussein, gave up on his nuclear program. And he warned us about the Islamists. So did then Russian President Dmitri Medvedev. They both were right.

Some of us who in the past had secret clearance could safely guessi that the CIA annex in Benghazi was tasked with transferring weapons from Libya to Syria with the help of Turkey. They were meant to support the Syrian rebels fighting Assad.

Hillary knew about this arms deal too and perhaps even originated it. On October 2, CIA Director David Petraeus went to Ankara to set it up. On October 10th, Stevens was asked by Hillary to go to the consulate in Benghazi, a facility that also included a CIA run annex. A day later he met with the Turkish consul in Bengazi. They surely did not discuss making  shish kebab.

That night Stevens was brutally killed along with three other Americans. Most likely, opposing factions were responsible. The Muslim Brotherhood was going to receive the weapons in Syria, but another organization resisted it.  Intriguingly, Petraeus was prevented from telling us what really happened as he was accused of misconduct. Obviously, somebody was keeping an eye on him. He would not be the first official who became the victim of White House intrigues.

Not just Hillary’s prevarication during the 13 hours, but also her strategy of supporting arms deals for “our rebels” fighting to overthrow both Ghaddafi and Assad, if true, disqualify her from becoming president. Vladimir Putin was right when he concluded that it is better to keep a dictator and his structures in place rather than support takeover by Islamic terrorists. Bernie was surely briefed and he should bring it up. It speaks volumes to Hillary’s qualifications for commander-in-chief.

Yet we do not hear a peep out of Sanders about whether a candidate under suspicion of breaking the law or engaged in conducting misguided foreign policies, will not be plowed under by lawsuits and legal problems if she becomes the Democratic nominee or president

Her time may well be spent coping with scandals, as happened to Richard Nixon in the 1973-74 Milhouse inferno. If Bernie does not take advantage of Server gate, foreign nationals may well do so as they did during and after Watergate.

This time our national nightmare could be transformed into international anarchy. Remember, we are still indispensable world power and the Western world and Russia and our Muslim allies are at war with Islamic terrorism.

Bernie should surely reopen the “damned e-mails,” but also Hillary’s potential inability to cope with her duties, going as Ted Cruze predicted, “From the White House to the court house” if she becomes president. Even worse, she cannot oversee U.S. national security from the jailhouse.

Doesn’t Bernie realize that abiding by Queensberry rules with a congenital prevaricator he will lose? Doesn’t he see that his rise in the polls also is a function of the growing perception of voters that she is primarily not electable?

Finally, Bernie should borrow a page from Donald and ask Hillary if she isn’t endangering the country by running for its highest office at a time of world chaos when the cloud of a possible indictment is raining on her head. If she becomes president, she could even be impeached as was husband Bill earlier.
