We are not experts on the Quran. However, we find many of Jake Neuman’s comments below worth contemplating. As we are writing these comments, thirty-one US. Governors, both Republicans and Democrats, have refused to accept the 10,000 Syrian refugees that President Barack Obama has decreed and Congress is presently voting on a law that would require intensive vetting to accept them. 

The opposition to the Syrian immigration is based on the carnage in Paris, where one of the perpetrators had a Syrian passport. Yet Neuman suggests that Americans are troubled by the Quran’s writings  and the concern that they will put Shar’ia law above U.S. law and the democratic values of our constitution.

Jake makes the point that freedom of religion in our country inherently is based on not just the Judeo-Christian religions, but others that embody the same commitment to freedom and human rights,  He goes so far as to imply that Islam is not a  religion at all, but a political ideology.  We believe Islam is a religion with some beautiful tenets.  Moreover, just as believers in the Bible no longer believe in stoning adulterers as prescribed, many Muslims inherently reject extremism.  Certainly there are Muslim countries that reject it entirely.  We were told by another islamic scholar that Sharia law can evolve, and we need to research how to build upon this reform Islam.  Of course, America and other countries need the help of their own patriotic Muslims to do that. 

What Jake also did not address is the inter-Islamic conflict.  How does he explain this conflict within the religion between Sunnis and Shiites?  He forgot to mention that two recent ISIS attacks in Kuwait and Lebanon were directed against Shiite Muslims.  How does this square with his dissertation?

We are still searching for answers. Meanwhile are  asking the Muslims in America and worldwide to address Mr. Neuman’s comments calmly and critically as we search for solutions.

We do not necessarily agree with every word of Jake’s analysis, nevertheless, he is in Germany, and he is witnessing the post-Paris massacre reaction of European people in general and Germans in particular to Muslim immigration. So here is his article.

   Carnage in Paris: What Multiculturalism and Freedom  of Religion’ Means to Muslims

On Novemberf 13, only ten months after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, Paris was rocked by a massive Jihadi attack, horrifically slaughtering 129 people and wounding over 300.  As one survivor stated, “They were shooting us like birds.” Immediately the political, media and ruling elites condemned the carnage.  Then they went into attack mode, desperately shifting to the same old blaming the problem on self-radicalization, poverty, isolation from society and the so called right wing.

 What many in the West fail to understand, however, is that the attack in Paris, as well as all other jihadi attacks, are just Muslims exercising their right to freedom of religion and Islamic multiculturalism.

  “We believe in the right of everyone to seek his fortune and live,” said  Andrea Merkel,  mentioning respect for others and tolerance.  “…We know that our free life is stronger than any terrorist. Let’s give the terrorists the answer by living our values confidently… as we affirm these values throughout Europe.”

But the values of Islam demand the total destruction of “our free life.”

Moreover, we are not dealing with “self-radicalization.” There is no self-radicalization -- just the teachings of the Quran, Sunna and Shar’ia Law -- all of which demand our total destruction.  Muslims carrying out these attacks are not “terrorists” but good, moral, moderate Muslims exactly following the Quranic verses and their prophet, Muhammad, and just exercising their right to freely practice Islam and Multiculturalism. Consequently, what all our elites are promoting with their illusions is our destruction, the destruction of our children and the destruction of humanity. This is treason on a grand scale!

What Do Multiculturalism and Freedom of Religion Really Mean to Muslims?

In the United States , freedom of religion is a constitutionally guaranteed right provided in the First Amendment. Freedom of religion is also closely associated with separation of church and state, a concept advocated by Thomas Jefferson.

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

"Multiculturalism" is the co-existence of diverse cultures, where culture includes racial, religious, or cultural groups and is manifested in customary behaviors, cultural assumptions and values, patterns of thinking, and communicative styles.

In the Western, democratic world, both multiculturalism and freedom of religion are aimed at protecting the rights and dignity of different religious communities so that they can practice their respective religious rites and rituals without fear and interference.

To Muslims, however, multiculturalism and freedom of religion applies only to the practice of Islam. This means, Muslims are obligated by the Quran (2:193, 8:39 etc.) to destroy all other religions – Christianity, Judaism, Mormonism, Hinduism and others – by whatever means necessary, so as to establish Islam as the only religion in the whole world.

Religious freedom to Muslims means allowing them to practice what they are obligated to uphold by their holy book – the right to establish Islam as the state religion, to murder and subjugate infidels (9:5, 9:29)

Most of all, for America and all other democratic countries it means destroying their democratic constitutions with its embedded freedom and democracy, and replacing it with Shar’ia Law. These are all demanded of Muslims by their sacred texts, namely the Quran and Ahadith (Sunnah). We can see all or most of these happening in Islamic havens like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Iran and even Turkey, as well as other Islamic countries.

As per the Quran and Sunnah, the following are the Muslims’ religious obligations, therefore, their religious right. Meanwhile, according to our laws, America and the West must allow them to act accordingly as per their constitutional right to freedom of religion:

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to unleash jihad – the Islamic holy war, to conquer all kafir nations and force them to submit to Islam. There are 164 Quranic teachings of Jihad. (Quran 29.6, 29.53, 22.52). God has granted Muslim men the divine right to marry and have sex with pre-Pubescent children (pedophilia) (65:4)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to polygamy (4.3)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to rape (4:24, 4:3, 4:25, 23:1- 6, 70:29-35, 33:50-52)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to gang rape infidel women (24:13)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to sex slavery (4:24)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to torture non-Muslims (22.19-22)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to whip fornicators (24.2)

God has granted Muslim men the right to amputation and crucifixion (5:33)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to beheading (8:12, 47:4)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to wife-beating (4:34)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to holding women inferior (2.228, 4.11, and 4.176)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to commit mass murder, massacre and the genocide of infidels (2:191, 9:5, 4:47, 8.67, 7.4, 8.17)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to terrorize kafirs (8.60, 3.151)

God has granted Muslim men accession to an immoral paradise for killing kafirs or getting killed while trying to kill kafirs (9.111).

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to theft and robbery (Entire Chapter 8 called “Booty”)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to forcing all other religions to submission to Islam (2.103, 2.286, 3.19, and 48.16)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to slavery (2.178)

God has granted Muslim men the divine right to extortion (9:29)

Most of all, Muslims are divinely obligated by their God to establish the Quranic law a/k/a Shar’ia Law as the complete code or sole source of law for running the world. In other words, allowing religious freedom to Muslims is to obligate America to accede to Muslims’ demands for replacing the American Constitution with totalitarian Shar’ia law.

Under Shar’ia Law, there is no freedom of religion, speech, thought, press and artistic expression; nor is there equality.  A non-Muslim, a Kafir, is never equal to a Muslim; there are no equal rights for women; women can be beaten by the husbands; non-Muslims allowed to live are dhimmis, or third-class citizens; there is no equal protection under Shar’ia for different classes of people, but rather one set of laws for Muslim males and different laws for women and non-Muslims.

Death is the punishment for apostasy, homosexuality, mocking anything in the Qur'an or the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad, criticizing Islam, shari'ah law or the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad. A Muslim who states a preference for democracy to shari'ah law or questions anything in the Qur'an or Sunnah, is a kafir (disbeliever) and apostate, liable to punishment to death.

Punishment for theft is amputation of the right hand up to the elbow. The penalty for premarital sexual intercourse is 100 lashes with a whip and one year of exile. The penalty for adultery is death by stoning.

Islam, in the guise of a religion, is actually a militant political ideology intended for conquering the world for their imagined Allah. The Quran is a declaration of open-ended war against the infidels, until all infidels convert to Islam, or are reduced to dhimmitude (institutionalized discrimination akin to slavery status), murdered or enslaved.

Islam is exactly opposite to what the US Constitution and the First Amendment clause stand for. Allowing Muslims to perform their every religious obligation under freedom of religion will mean the destruction of our Constitution and the end of democracy and freedom in America. 

Islam is the death of the West. Islam is the death of humanity. Islam is the death of us.
