PANETTA ON D.C. AND PUTIN IN CAIRO, By Jiri and Leni Valenta, 2-16-15

Former U.S. DOD chief Leon  Panetta asserts, "The greatest threat to our national security is dysfunction in D.C."  What he left out is that the fault lies primarily with  Pied Piper POTUS  whose doctrine is "strategic patienc" and leading from behind,  Consistently, he  not only leads from behind but in the wrong direction.  Where was he in Paris or at the EU-Ukraine-Russia  bargain table?  Why does he not contain Russia by arming Kiev?  Why does he persist in denying that IS terrorists in Iraq, Syria, Libya and South Yemen, are encircling Israel?  Or that “citizens” killed in Libya were Egyptian Christians?

Certainly Russian President Vladimir Putin is aware of it.  The Christian autocrat was quick to visit Egypt and another supporter of Christians, President Assisi.  Meanwhile our president originally supported the Muslim Brotherhood´s Morsi, because he was "democratically elected."  So was Hitler.

Shamed by Jordan and Egypt´s bravery vs IS, we find Democrats befuddled by POTUS´s deft misuse of liberal issues ---  climate change,  ecology and immigration amnesty – to deflect us from blitzing IS and saving our skins.  The Republicans, angry about Immigraton,  are also not immune to absurdity, like  trying to deny funds to the Department fo Homeland Security.  Make no mistake, however!  The primary cause of “dysfunction” is due to the man who recalls the call of the muezzin as a child.
