RIAC — RUSI — E3G Workshop on Environmental Management Issues and Nature Based Solutions

On October 20, 2021, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and Third Generation Environmentalism (E3G), held workshop (chatham house format) on environmental management issues and nature based solutions (NBS). The workshop was organized within the framework of the sixth round of the project “A New Agenda for Russia — UK Relations”.

On October 20, 2021, the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and Third Generation Environmentalism (E3G), held workshop (chatham house format) on environmental management issues and nature based solutions (NBS). The workshop was organized within the framework of the sixth round of the project “A New Agenda for Russia — UK Relations”.
The goals of the meeting were to discuss the interests of Russia and UK on climate change, environmental management issues and NBS, to seek convergence of positions on key issues of the bilateral environmental agenda. Within the framework of the workshop two sessions were held. The first session was devoted to the positions of Russia and the UK on the issues of NBS. The second one was dedicated to the possibilities of cooperation in the field of climate change and NBS.
The event was attended by leading Russian and British experts.
