On April 5-6, 2014 the School of Public Affairs at Xiamen University held a conference "Comparative Government Reform Practices of Russia, China and Great Britain: Strategic, Political and Administrative Aspects", which coincided with the 93rd anniversary of the University and the 10th anniversary of the School. One of the sessions touched upon the RIAC activities. The Russian Council presented its projects and educational programs, as well as the report "Internationalization of Russian Universities: the Chinese Vector."

On April 5-6, 2014 the School of Public Affairs at Xiamen University held a conference "Comparative Government Reform Practices of Russia, China and Great Britain: Strategic, Political and Administrative  Aspects", which coincided with the 93rd anniversary of the University and the 10th anniversary of the School.

The event was attended by representatives of the RAS Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Higher School of Government at Moscow State University, Peoples' University of China, Tsinghua University, Tver State University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Chinese Institute of Contemporary International Relations, and University of Southampton.

The participants focused on reforms in Russia, China and Great Britain, including their challenges and results, and also shared their experiences with respect to migration settlement, anticorruption efforts, and personnel training for public and social administration.
