RIAC Meets Philippine Ambassador to Russia

On February 24, 2014 RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov met Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Russian Federation Alejandro Mosquera. The Ambassador showed his interest in RIAC Asia-Pacific activities, primarily with respect to the elaboration of proposals on international cooperation for the development of East Siberia and the Far East. Dr. Kortunov outlined a number of areas of possible cooperation between RIAC and the Embassy. Among them – joint roundtables, meetings and discussions between the Philippine diplomats and the local expert community, as well as information exchanges, including via the RIAC website.
