RIAC Meets Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences

On 14 February the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ILA) welcomed the representatives of RIAC. The meeting was held to discuss current studies undertaken by the ILA and the research, education and publication projects conducted by the RIAC, focusing on possible areas for cooperation. It was agreed to have a joint analytical paper drafted, to ask ILA scholars to produce a series of analytical notes for the RIAC web-site, and to promote the Council's cooperation with young scholars in Latin America studies.

On 14 February the institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ILA) welcomed the representatives of RIAC.
The meeting at the ILA was attended by the Institute's Director Vladimir Davydov, RAS Corresponding Member; his deputy for academic studies Dr. Boris Martynov; ILA's Academic Secretary Eduard Bely; Dr. Pyotr Yakovlev, Head of the Iberian Studies Centre; and Dr. Zbignev Ivanovsky, head and academic advisor of Political Conjucture research group. The RIAC side was represented by its programme director Ivan Timofeev, programme manager Natalia Evtikhevich and programme assistants Daria Khaspekova and Nikolay Markotkin.
