On April 9, 2014 RIAC President Igor Ivanov, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and RIAC Program Manager Natalia Evtikhevich visited the headquarters of the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC, to discuss the current status of Russia-U.S. relations in the context of Ukraine crisis. Regarding the Ukraine crisis as a turning point in the entire global security system, the participants pledged to continue cooperation at the second-track tier and underlined the need to seek ways for developing the bilateral relations in the new environment.
