On the sidelines of the Conference “Russia and China: Taking on a New Quality of Bilateral Relations,” RIAC President Igor Ivanov held a meeting with Chinese Conference delegation headed by Dai Bingguo, Chairman of the Chinese Chapter of the Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development.
The Russian side was represented by Ambassador Gleb Ivashentsov, Ambassador Alexander Panov and RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov.
The meeting participants exchanged their views on expected results of the Conference and emphasized its great significance for Russian-Chinese relations at the present stage. Igor Ivanov and Dai Bingguo will deliver their speeches on May 31, 2016 at the opening of the plenary session.
