Short version

On March 10, 2017 Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a meeting with the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament (Folketing) of the Kingdom of Denmark. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, Ivan Timofeev, RIAC Director of Programs, and Liudmila Filippova, RIAC Program Manager for the Arctic and Asia Pacific, took part in the event. Danish delegation included Søren Espersen, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament, Thomas Winkler, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Denmark to Russia, as well as members of Folketing and officials of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed current Russian foreign policy priorities, possible measures to reduce international tensions as well as development of Russia–Denmark ties in bilateral and multilateral formats.
