On July 4, 2016, RIAC members, among them Director General Andrey Kortunov, Fyodor Lukyanov, Editor-in-Chief of Russia in Global Affairs magazine and Chairman of Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, and Dmitry Trenin, Director of Moscow Carnegie Center, visited the residence of Japan’s Ambassador to Russia to meet with Deputy Vice-Minister for Foreign Policy Kimihiro Isikane who is in Moscow on a brief visit.
Moderated by Ambassador Toehisa Kodzuki, the above participants, Japanese Foreign Ministry officials and Moscow-based diplomats discussed current issues in bilateral relations, security and development in Northeast Asia and Asia-Pacific.
