On October 3-5, 2018, New York City hosted a regular Board of Trustees meeting of the International Crisis Group, an independent non-profit multinational organization focusing on armed conflict prevention.
The following issues were discussed in the course of the meeting: main directions of ICG current work in Latin America, Africa, South Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East, general trends in world development, contributing to the decrease in levels of global and regional stability, increasing the risk of conflicts of different types and scales. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, represented Russia at the International Crisis Group Board of Trustees meeting.
