Personal Information: Uther Charlton-Stevens is Associate Professor at the Institute of World Economy & Finance and director of the Global Eurasia Studies Programme at Volgograd State University. He was an undergraduate at the University of Oxford and obtained his masters degree from the Economic History Department of the London School of Economics before returning to Oxford to complete his doctorate in Modern South Asian History. He grew up in Hong Kong and speaks Mandarin Chinese and basic Russian.
