This blog focuses on the dynamics of Russian and Iranian foreign and securities policies in the Middle East, Caspian Sea, and Central Asia. It places the Russia-Iran relationship within the context of these regional systems and further examines the approaches taken by Moscow and/or Tehran to various emerging challenges. Nicole Grajewski is a graduate student in Russian & East European Studies at the University of Oxford where her research focuses on Russia’s relationship with Iran in the Middle East and Central Asia.
