Malaysia International Youth Exchange 2014

Day two

May 23, 2014

Waking up at 7 am isn' hard: it's already sunny and so hot you're walking from a cold conditioned room not that quickly. The Royal Museum is a formal Royal residence; its basically a very beautiful palace. Inside we take off our shoes and walk on a nice carpet watching incredible interiors and pictures of the Royal family. After that we have really nice activities: firstly learning a bit from the presentation about Malaysian heritage and how they cherish it and save it. But then a room is turning in a huge chair-less hall when we begin to have fun activities. Separated on the several groups our multinational company play some games and really get to know each other. After the lunch we learn how to make a Malaysian traditional costumes. When we've made a hat my group put it on my head and called me a king (okey!). Also we played a little drums and learned some basic dance moves, what ended in our quick-prepared performances.

The day ended in a free time in the very heart of Kuala Lumpur - KLCC. We went out of the bus right in front of the Petronas Twin Towers - it's just wow! And now sitting on a terrace of a cafe watching a fountain and the breathtaking skyscrapers only one thought is coming to mind: wow Malaysia!
