JVLV: BUDAPEST! LATER U.S. BORDERS! BOOTS ON GROUND IN SYRIA THE ONLY SOLUTION, By Jiri and Leni Friedman Valenta, 8-30-15

JVLV:  Budapest 8-3O-2015!  Déjà vu!  Some of us are old enough to recall that the crisis of European communism intensified in Budapest, September 1989, when  thousands of East German refugees were stormed the Budapest train station trying to escape, via Austria, to West Germany. The final straw was the Hungarian communist government’s decision to open the borders with Austria.  Within several weeks, the eastern European communist governments folded in the wake of peaceful revolution, with the exception of Romania.

Now, in 2015, thousands of refugees are at the same Budapest train station, escaping the horrors of Islamic terrorism in Syria and Iraq.  They too seek refuge in Germany via Austria this time from Islamic fascism in the Middle East.  We don’t yet know how the Hungarian government will respond this time, but one conclusion for all of us who care about human rights is inescapable. Budapest has become the fulcrum of a new crisis, one that is worldwide.  The immigration crisis, involving not just Mexicans, but peoples from the Middle East and Africa, including terrorists, is already reaching America's  southern borders with Mexico. Our national security is in jeopardy and we must deal with this crisis at the source.

As Isis is Metastasizing and attacking NATO military, Europe and America, we must not be hesitant.  The only strategy that will work is to deploy boots ( 20,000 thousand Special Forces and Air Controllers) on the ground in Syria and Iraq.   As the indispensable world power, we must act, no matter the coming 2016 elections,.  This is the last chance for POTUS to accept his responsibilities as commander-in-chief rather than divider-in-chief.

We must even consider working with Vladimir Putin.  We must ask him to extract himself from the Ukraine quagmire and help to establish an Alowite government in Syria without Iran’s influence.  We must also support global humanitarian measures to save Christians from the Islamic horrors. In short, we must not just downgrade, but defeat ISIS!  As Richard Haas, President of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations wrote, "Foreign policy begins at home."
