On May 18, 2016 RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev held a session “Preparation of scientific articles for SCOPUS and WEB of Science collected articles; Global Education program experience within the framework of the International Conference “Deaf-Blind People in the Modern World: Breaking the Boundaries of the Possible.” In his speech he focused on the peculiarities of publishing the results of Russian scientists’ research in foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as outlined the underlying potential problems that may be encountered in this process.

On May 18, 2016 RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev held a session “Preparation of scientific articles for SCOPUS and WEB of Science collected articles; Global Education program experience within the framework of the International Conference “Deaf-Blind People in the Modern World: Breaking the Boundaries of the Possible.” In his speech he focused on the peculiarities of publishing the results of Russian scientists’ research in foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as outlined the underlying potential problems that may be encountered in this process.

RIAC Program Manager Ekaterina Chimiris elaborated on such an important and yet unfamiliar to us process of searching and analyzing journals and magazines for publication. The rules for preparing and submitting articles for publication abroad are very different from the Russian practice, and journals’ analysis makes it possible to meet the challenge.

RIAC plans to develop Global Science 2.0 program. There have already been published four articles of the first stage participants, and scientific articles on the problems of deaf-blind people development in Russia are coming soon.
