On June 16, 2021, the International Crisis Group (ICG) held an online discussion on the situation in Libya ten years after the outbreak of the civil war in that country.

The discussion focused on the causes and driving forces of the conflict, the role of external players, the dynamics of the military confrontation, and the current balance of political forces in Libya. The prospects for a peaceful settlement and possible parameters of the future Libyan statehood were assessed. The discussion was attended by members of the ICG Board of Trustees, including Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
