Mixes, Matches and Mistakes charts the ways in which New Public Management has influenced Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, and Russia. In all cases that influence has been conditioned by the political and economic challenges faced by governments and the legacies of state socialism.
