On November 19, 2018, young Russian experts in international affairs made a study visit to the Republic of Korea. The visit was organized by Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) together with the Korea Foundation.

On November 19, 2018, young Russian experts in international affairs made a study visit to the Republic of Korea. The visit was organized by Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) together with the Korea Foundation.

The delegation was headed by Gleb Ivashentsov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, RIAC Vice-President. The participants included: Anna Kireeva, Associate Professor at MGIMO University; Ilya Dyachkov, Associate Professor at MGIMO University; Liudmila Zakharova, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences; Yuriy Kulintsev, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies (IFES) Russian Academy of Sciences; Vladimir Nelidov, MGIMO Lecturer, Associate Researcher at RAS Institute of Oriental Studies; Pavel Leshakov, Associate Professor at MSU; Roman Lobov, RISS Expert; Tatyana Bogdasarova and Ksenia Kuzmina, RIAC Program Coordinators.

On November 19, Professor Gu Ho Eom, Director of the Asia-Pacific Research Center at Hanyang University, addressed Russian experts. In addition, the delegation met with representatives of National Assembly Futures Institute and Asan Institute for Policy Studies. During the events, Russian and Korean experts discussed topical issues of Russian-Korean relations, as well as inter-Korean ties, and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
