On Friday, August 24, 2012, RIAC organized a seminar on “Transport and Logistics Issues on the G20 Agenda”.

During the seminar the participants discussed the importance of transport-related issues in the G20 and other international organizations’ activities, prospects of inclusion of these issues in the global agenda, the need for and possibilities of standardization and harmonization of the international transport system, and use of technologies to solve global infrastructure problems.

On Friday, August 24, 2012, RIAC organized a seminar on “Transport and Logistics Issues on the G20 Agenda”.

The seminar was opened by RIAC General Director Andrey Kortunov and RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev. Among the participants were several Russian leading G20 experts, transport specialists and representatives from the business community.

During the seminar the participants discussed the importance of transport-related issues in the G20 and other international organizations’ activities, prospects of inclusion of these issues in the global agenda, the need for and possibilities of standardization and harmonization of the international transport system, and use of technologies to solve global infrastructure problems.
