On June 30 – July 1 2017, Berlin hosted the 5th “German-Russian International Dialogue” or GRID, a meeting of a Russian-German work group within the joint project of Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Koerber Foundation (Koerber Stiftung, Germany).

On June 30 – July 1 2017, Berlin hosted the 5th “German-Russian International Dialogue” or GRID, a meeting of a Russian-German work group within the joint project of Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Koerber Foundation (Koerber Stiftung, Germany).

The meeting gathered Russian and German expert and media communities, as well as government officials nd representatives of NGO's. 

During the meeting the following issues were discussed: current state and prospects for relations within the "triangle" of Russia, the EU and the U.S., dynamics of the Ukrainian crisis and "Eastern partnership" countries, perspectives on the pan-European cooperation, including the OSCE and "Greater Eurasian Partnership", situation in the Western Balkans countries, as well as competition and cooperation of global powers in the region of Middle East and North Africa.
