On June 1–2, 2021, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) are holding the Sixth International Conference “Russia and China: Cooperation in a New Era”.
The conference has been held since 2015 and has proven to be one of the most authoritative science and expert forums for a comprehensive consideration of various aspects of Russian-Chinese relations and the development of specific recommendations for their further advancement.

In 2021, the event is timed to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation between Russia and China, which laid the foundation for building a new type of relationship between the two states. The presentation of a collection of articles dedicated to this event will also take place.
Within the Conference framework prominent politicians, scientists and experts of the two countries will discuss the specifics of Russia-China relations in a new era, the possibilities of the two countries to promote an equitable and just world order, the challenges to economic cooperation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the role of think tanks in the interaction between the states.
