On November 20, 2020, Higher School of Economics (HSE) held the second online expert discussion on military doctrinal issues of ensuring strategic stability.

The discussion focused on the issues of possible convergence of Russian and American military doctrines, as well as the prospects for Russia-the U.S. cooperation in the field of strategic weapons.

The discussion focused on the issues of possible convergence of Russian and American military doctrines, as well as the prospects for Russia-the U.S. cooperation in the field of strategic weapons.

Particular attention was paid to the analysis of trends in the development of the strategic potential of the PRC. The event was chaired by Andrey Kokoshin, RIAC Member, Deputy Academic Supervisor, HSE University, RAS Full Member. The meeting was attended by leading experts on international security from HSE University, MGIMO MFA, MSU, ISKRAN (RAS Institute for US and Canadian Studies), RAS IMEMO, including Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, Vasily Kashin and Sergey Rogov, RIAC Experts.
