On May 11, 2021, the European Council on Foreign Relations held an online discussion focusing on what can be expected from Russian chairmanship of the Arctic Council.
More than thirty experts, diplomats and public figures from Europe and North America took part in the discussion. On the Russian side, reports were made by Andrey Zagorsky, RIAC Member, Head of the Department of Disarmament and Conflict Resolution of the Center for International Security at IMEMO RAS, Professor at the MGIMO Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy of Russia, and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
