On July 12-13, 2016, RIAC Program Manager for the Arctic and Asia-Pacific Lyudmila Filippova visited the Ocean University of China, Qingdao. Ms. Filippova read a lecture titled “The Future of the Arctic Region: Reconciling or Walking apart?” The presentation was followed by a discussion of current issues related with Russia-China relations and international cooperation in the Arctic with participation of the university students and faculty.

On July 12-13, 2016, RIAC Program Manager for the Arctic and Asia-Pacific Lyudmila Filippova visited the Ocean University of China, Qingdao. 

Ms. Filippova read a lecture titled “The Future of the Arctic Region: Reconciling or Walking apart?” The presentation was followed by a discussion of current issues related with Russian-Chinese relations and international cooperation in the Arctic with participation of the university students and faculty. 

Ms. Filippova and Executive Director of the Research Institute of Polar Law and Politics Peiqing Guo examined opportunities for cooperation of the two think tanks.
