On June 23-26, 2016, RIAC Media and Government Relations Manager Anton Tsvetov was in the Dutch city of Santpoort at the 6th Global Table held by the BMW Foundation and the Hague Institute for Global Justice and attended by politicians, businesspersons, analysts and public activists from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America who discussed conflict prevention and settlement, as well as post-conflict rebuilding.

On June 23-26, 2016, RIAC Media and Government Relations Manager Anton Tsvetov was in the Dutch city of Santpoort at the 6th Global Table held by the BMW Foundation and the Hague Institute for Global Justice and attended by politicians, businesspersons, analysts and public activists from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America who discussed conflict prevention and settlement, as well as post-conflict rebuilding. 

Mr. Tsvetov narrates:

“The discussants tried to handle a most delicate issue of the balance between peacemaking and justice during conflict settlement. Definitely, in absence of amnesty to combatants one can hardly expect ceasefire and moreover peace. However, military crimes and human rights violations remain. So the point seems to be in finding the borderline of justice one can trespass for sake for a speedy peace. The matter is both moral and political.”
