On September 11-12, 2104, RIAC Days in Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU) were held and included a training session devoted to the development of MSLU Internet resources aimed at optimizing the website capacity for internationalization purposes, i.e. improving its international image and positions in global ratings, attracting foreign students, postgraduates and teachers.

RIAC Days were opened by MSLU Pro-Rector on Innovation and New Education Technologies Marif Kurbanov and RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev.

Presenting the RIAC education program, Dr. Timofeev said that "quite recently we have been talking about the Internet revolution that now seems practically over, having opened a host of opportunities. However, Russian universities still underuse them, running into such problems as low international ratings, poor influx of foreign students and teachers, as well as insufficient recognition of Russian university brands abroad. "

Attended by heads of the MSLU departments, chairs and sections, the two-day event was devoted to discussing best Russian and foreign practices of presenting university websites, knowledge of target audiences, and typical mistakes in the website content. Special attention was attached to the MSLU English-language website and guidelines for its perfection.

The results of the training will be used in the Roadmap for Development of the MSLU English-Language Website.
